After completing mission 8 you have to wait until JP midnight to get
that cutscene with Naja here on mission 9.
You’ll be going to the Alzadaal Undersea Ruins for the second part of
this mission. You will need 1 Imperial Silver piece to enter the ruins
(which is why I recommend saving it from mission 8) so make sure you
have that on you before you leave. If you don’t have a map of the
Ruins, you can also bring 3 Imperial Mythril Pieces (if you don’t how
to get them, check here) and get that useful map on this trip.

With currency in hand, take a chocobo out of Al Zahbi and make for
(F-6) in the Bhaflau Thickets. There is an NPC blue mage guarding the
tunnel in. Trade her the 3 Imperial Mythril Pieces for the map if you
brought them, then the 1 Silver to be allowed past her. Head into the
ruins.
Approach the door for a mission cutscene.

The Alzadaal Undersea Ruins are simultaneously very cool and very
boring. Cool because the corridors are very detailed and the ocean
views are neat, boring because the vast majority of the area is totally
empty and there’s no music. This is sort of ToAU’s endgame area -
Salvage and Nyzul Isle Investigations take place here.
Your next mission cutscene is with Naja but feel free to explore the
ruins a bit. The only enemies, Qiqirns, don’t aggro. There’s another
staging point deep inside here as well. But once you’ve had your fill,
proceed to the next mission.
